What you will do

• Define the long-term vision, commercial strategy, and development roadmap for regional partner success and supply functions.
• Build and manage high-stakes, C-level corporate relationships with Japanese luxury resale players and institutional suppliers.
• Direct and mentor a cross-functional regional hub, including Business Development and Partner Success specialists.
• Engineer complex commercial frameworks to protect margins while ensuring scalable partnership growth.
• Manage strategic relationships with local tax consultants, financial auditors, and legal bodies as the senior local representative.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in retail, brand, wholesale, or premium marketplace environments.
• Proven track record of designing and scaling B2B partner programs from scratch.
• Native-level or fluent Japanese and fluency in English.
• Complete mastery of Japanese corporate business etiquette (Ningengenkei).
• Expertise in high-stakes corporate negotiations and strategic analytical thinking.
• Strong experience in the luxury fashion or luxury resale sectors (highly advantageous).
