What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development and new market strategies for Japan and Asia.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the APAC region.
- Identify and launch new market opportunities to generate business and drive revenue.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles and complex contract negotiations from prospecting to closure.
- Collaborate with internal product and development teams to steer innovation and joint solutions.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or marketing.
- Proven track record in account planning and closing complex deals.
- Experience managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
- Strong project management skills across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Must be based in Tokyo to work in a hybrid setup.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the domestic betting industry (KEIBA, KERIN) and overseas online betting.
- Previous experience working with consumer electronics, retail, or the mobile industry.
