Ground Integration Lead (Aerospace): Integrating heterogeneous satellite constellations into a cohesive ground network with an accent on bridging the gap between space assets and RF/Optical ground segments. Focus on designing secure, multi-level classification architectures and scaling high-impact engineering teams for national security and commercial missions.

is a Series C startup building the largest and highest-power satellite platforms ever flown for missions from LEO to deep space.
What you will do
- Define and execute the long-term vision for end-to-end ground systems integration.
- Lead the development of in-house ground infrastructure and manage relationships with third-party mission partners.
- Architect secure ground systems capable of operating at multiple levels of classification.
- Build and scale a team of experienced ground integration engineers.
- Collaborate with Ground Software and Flight Software teams to unlock new mission capabilities.
- Represent the company in recruiting, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
- U.S. Person status (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) per ITAR regulations.
- Top Secret Clearance.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of leadership experience at the department or organization level.
- Deep experience with classified systems and their security requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Mathematics, or a STEM discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or mission-critical systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C#.NET.
- Familiarity with cloud systems, CI/CD, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Understanding of system architectures supporting orbital and ground systems.
