What you will do
- Execute strategic sales plans to achieve budgeted objectives and profitability within the assigned territory.
- Plan and schedule school visits using SFDC to maximize time spent with customers.
- Promote and demonstrate Jacaranda's digital and print products tailored to specific customer needs.
- Build and maintain long-term business partnerships with schools and booksellers to grow revenue.
- Research market intelligence and monitor competitor strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to refine and enhance strategic sales plans.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, with a preference for solution-based selling.
- Understanding of teaching and learning issues within the school education environment.
- Ability to work in the field at schools an average of 4 days per week.
- Availability for regular inter/intra state travel.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
