What you will do
- Manage mechanical and piping engineering design, defining criteria and reviewing deliverables from contractors and vendors.
- Lead technical bid evaluations and vendor selection for mechanical equipment and piping materials.
- Supervise field installation and conduct quality inspections according to ITP plans to ensure construction quality.
- Coordinate commissioning, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities to ensure design parameters are achieved.
- Provide expert troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge to support plant optimization and site teams.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize CAPEX and OPEX without compromising equipment integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Machinery, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience within the chemical process industry.
- Specialized experience with drum/bag filling machines, powder handling facilities, and rotating/mixing equipment.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical engineering standards (ASME, ASTM, GB, HG, SH, JB).
- Good English command for organizing technical discussions with global experts.
- Ability to travel up to 70% during project execution phases.
