Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer (AI/BI): Building and showcasing the hirify.global AI analytics platform to prospective customers with an accent on technical evaluations and Proof of Concept (POC) development. Focus on bridging the gap between customer needs and product capabilities using SQL and the modern data stack.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to provide technical expertise and prove use cases to showcase platform value.
• Build and present Proofs of Concept (POCs) to enable prospective customers on their own data.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to guide product direction based on user feedback.
• Facilitate the transition from trials to successful customers by partnering with post-sales teams.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of data analytics or BI experience, including pre-sales experience.
• Strong SQL skills for analytics.
• Familiarity with the modern data stack, including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift) and dbt.
• Experience owning technical conversations directly with customers.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

Nice to have

• Prior experience with enterprise BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Mode, or Sisense.
