What you will do

• Own the technical suitability of motors and VFDs, focusing on performance, thermal limits, and reliability.
• Lead new product development from concept to launch, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.
• Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Execute design verification, validation, and reliability testing strategies.
• Develop new concepts and contribute to intellectual property through invention disclosures and patents.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical best practices to elevate overall engineering capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible product engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading complex product development projects independently.
• Strong understanding of system integration, manufacturing processes, and field applications.
• Experience with structured new product development processes (e.g., stage-gate).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Delavan, WI, including laboratory and manufacturing floor presence.
