What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical, controls, and automation systems for aluminum production processes.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC platforms including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Beckhoff systems.
• Manage end-to-end automation projects from scope development and budgeting to commissioning.
• Configure and troubleshoot variable frequency AC and DC motor drives.
• Lead root-cause analysis for electrical downtime using diagnostic tools and historians.
• Maintain HMI/SCADA systems, MES interfaces, and ensure NFPA compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical and automation engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff.
• Strong background in HMI/SCADA platforms and industrial drive systems.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis and manage electrical projects.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Eureka, CA.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
