What you will do

• Lead electrical design for municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance on client standards to regional design centers and technician staff.
• Serve as the primary technical expert for electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant systems.
• Perform energy optimization, power system coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Manage business relationships with clients to identify needs and support business development.
• Coordinate with local electrical utilities and oversee the startup and testing of major equipment.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Gaithersburg, MD, US.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience in electrical design, planning, and construction.
• Active engineering registration or licensure (PE) to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
• Experience with medium and low voltage power distribution, VFDs, and standby diesel generators.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer’s license specifically in MD or another US jurisdiction.
• Prior experience in consulting and the Water/Wastewater industry.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP.
