What you will do

• Lead a team responsible for the architecture, security, and continuous evolution of enterprise laboratory technology platforms (OT, IoT, LIMS).
• Act as the primary Research Site Partner for San Diego, managing strategic relationships with the site's SVP and research leadership.
• Manage an annual operating budget of approximately $3M, overseeing financial planning and vendor management.
• Drive technology modernization via intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and passive data capture.
• Capture and shape raw scientist requirements into prioritized demand for cross-functional platform backlogs.
• Ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations aligned with cyber security, ITSM, and ITIL standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise-scale technology platforms and support organizations.
• Proven experience operating within GxP- and SOX-regulated environments.
• Strong leadership experience building and sustaining high-performing teams.
• Expertise in program, portfolio, demand, and financial management.
• Experience as a product owner or business relationship manager, translating ambiguous input into structured backlogs.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA to support hybrid or on-site requirements.
