What you will do

• Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software and hardware issues escalated by Field Service teams.
• Collaborate directly with customers to provide technical expertise during business-critical situations.
• Provide engineering teams with actionable feedback on product design, reliability, and software defects.
• Manage customer escalations by tracking progress, meeting schedules, and ensuring high satisfaction.
• Analyze supplier and OEM support calls and authorize the use of external resources when necessary.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding support activities and team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing product support or engineering experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodologies including C#, .NET, C++, and Python.
• Expertise in debugging large code bases and multithreaded applications.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and optical systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with HVAC and cooling/chiller technologies.
• Experience with SAP.
