What you will do

• Independently manage the scope, planning, and execution of field-based engineering projects.
• Conduct on-site product evaluations and electrical tests to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate technical requirements and resolve complex engineering issues with clients and authorities.
• Develop specialized test methods and equipment for unique or unusual product features.
• Represent the company at meetings and provide technical presentations on code and certification topics.
• Serve as a project handler and reviewer of record for assigned product categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physics from an ABET-accredited program.
• Eight years of directly related professional experience.
• Expert knowledge of NEC, Building Codes, and conformity standards.
• Demonstrated experience with electrical test equipment and hazard-based engineering concepts.
• Ability to travel frequently, including international travel.
• Must be located near an airport.
