Structural Engineer (Civil)

What you will do

• Perform structural calculations and designs for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood in industrial settings.
• Conduct site inspections and gather field data to evaluate existing structural conditions.
• Develop project-based documentation, including studies, project notes, and close-out reports.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, outside consultants, and contractors to ensure design accuracy.
• Manage engineering schedules and budget objectives for assigned projects.
• Ensure all deliverables follow client and industry standards, including IBC and ASCE.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Structural Engineering role.
• Proficiency with Risa-3D and 3D/solid finite element modeling.
• Knowledge of codes: IBC, ASCE, ACI 318, AISC, and NDS.
• Must be based in or able to work in Cincinnati, OH or Cedar Rapids, IA.
• PE License is preferred.
