What you will do

• Lead commercial design projects for Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including access control, video, and intrusion systems.
• Develop technical specifications, budgets, timelines, and detailed project documentation (30% to 100% IFC) using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and support documentation for customer RFPs.
• Conduct quality control reviews of drawings and recommend necessary design changes.
• Manage multi-region projects and maintain long-term client partnerships.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate Design Engineers and junior roles.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in ESS systems design, integration, or engineering.
• 2+ years of team leadership or engineering management experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
• Proven experience with ESS domains: access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with platforms like Lenel, CCure, Honeywell, Brivo, Milestone, ExacqVision, Eagle Eye, Axis, and Hanwha.
• Industry certifications in access control or video surveillance (e.g., Lenel Onguard).
• Experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS architecture.
