What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs and software features.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using distributed systems and serverless technologies.
- Build and enhance microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and LLMs to improve software design and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience building and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Nice to have
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS.
- Frontend development experience and ability to contribute to full-stack initiatives.
- Background in life sciences, bioinformatics, healthcare, or medical devices.
- Experience developing software in regulated environments with design control processes.
