What you will do

• Build strong member relationships and guide members to mortgage solutions that fit their goals.
• Originate loans by collecting required documents, completing accurate applications, and clearly communicating disclosures and fees.
• Pre-qualify members and match conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo products to member needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for members and real estate partners from application through closing.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Fulfillment, Support, and Servicing teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure a seamless process.
• Review application data, analyze Automated Underwriting System findings, and document files to meet underwriting and investor requirements.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Washington (WA)
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of lending sales, processing, or underwriting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
• Comply with SAFE Act legislation, including annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
• Ability to evaluate loan applications and supporting documentation, including complex income analysis (e.g., complex tax returns).

Nice to have

• College degree preferred.
• Experience with conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo mortgage products.
• Financial services/financial institution background.
