TL;DR

Marketing Automation Intern (Marketing): Building website optimization, SEO, and AEO tooling to ensure web discoverability in the AI era with an accent on automation and technical analysis. Location: Onsite in Vancouver, B.C.

Salary: $50,000 – $58,000 CAD (annualized, prorated for ~4-month placement)

What you will do

  • Perform SEO and AEO (Answer-Engine Optimization) search analysis to prioritize actionable website improvements.
  • Build documented website optimization workflows in WordPress using technical skills and AI tools.
  • Develop automation tooling to replace manual tasks and improve reporting turnaround.
  • Collaborate with biz-dev, sales pods, and senior leaders to identify critical content needs.
  • Monitor SEO/AEO across various verticals and recommend content for the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Vancouver, B.C.
  • Strong interest in marketing automation and the intersection of marketing and technology.
  • AI-fluency with experience using low-code tools to build efficient workflows.
  • Analytics-minded approach with comfort in HubSpot and Google Analytics.
  • Self-directed mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and propose solutions.

Nice to have

  • Experience with WordPress and HubSpot.
  • Basic server or DevOps awareness regarding AI crawlers and technical blocks.
  • General design or UI/UX sense.
