What you will do

• Own one or more 300mm wet etch toolsets, maintaining safety, cleanliness, process control, availability, matching, and defect performance.
• Define process roadmaps, module flows, procedures, and equipment configurations for new technologies.
• Select and develop materials and equipment to meet quality, yield, reliability, cost, productivity, and manufacturability requirements.
• Plan and conduct experiments to characterize processes and drive improvements in stability, yield, productivity, and safety.
• Lead tool installations, conversions, qualifications, technology transfers, and new factory start-ups.
• Establish solutions for difficult process and equipment problems and train engineers during transfers to other factories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering STEM field, plus 1+ year of experience; or a master’s degree plus 6+ months of experience.
• Semiconductor engineering experience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfers.
• Teamwork, leadership, prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and accountability skills.
• Ability to work across process engineering, integration, and yield organizations and use data to influence decisions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kg) four times per day and frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts as an on-shift engineer when required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a semiconductor factory as a technician or engineer.
• Experience in a wet etch functional area.
• Knowledge of statistics and experimental design applied to tool matching, qualification, and process development.
• Technical troubleshooting skills.
