Process Support Engineer III (Semiconductor)

Location: Chandler, AZ — on-site; travel required up to 20% of the time.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year.

What you will do

• Guide semiconductor products and processes through development, optimization, and final qualification.
• Act as the liaison between customers and the business unit, translating customer issues into applicable solutions.
• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
• Develop hypothesis experiments and design-of-experiments studies, analyze statistical data, and prepare technical conclusions.
• Approve system operational quality and instruct customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry.
• Knowledge of at least three processes across one or more semiconductor technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with process or applications engineering is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Chandler, Arizona and travel approximately 20% of the time.
