What you will do

• Design and specify electrical power distribution systems, switch-gear, and motor control centers.
• Implement and activate UPS units, standby emergency generators, and building grounding systems.
• Perform load flow analysis of electrical power distribution and evaluate electrical equipment.
• Coordinate all electrical installations and maintenance activities with local utilities.
• Ensure all designs and installations conform to NFPA 70E, NEC, IBC, and other applicable codes.
• Provide engineering support and troubleshooting for facility technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects, power distribution, switchgear, UPS, or generators.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis, TN or Southaven, MS.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience with medium voltage distribution, VFDs, and MODBUS communication.
• Ability to read and understand complex power and control schematics.
• Working knowledge of power coordination and arc flash.
