Lead Electrical Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Austin, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle (Hybrid)

Compensation: $260,000 – $310,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own the clean-sheet design of UL 891 LV switchboards and UL 857 distribution busway platforms.
• Lead a dedicated team of electrical and mechanical engineers through design, NRTL listing, and test campaigns.
• Drive end-to-end listing programs including test plans, witness testing, and certification file management.
• Collaborate with localization teams on design upgrades, protection interfaces, and seismic anchorage.
• Ensure consistent product delivery across the data center fleet by working with authorized vendors.

Requirements

• Must have US work authorization
• Proven experience designing LV switchboards or busway at an OEM.
• Direct experience carrying a product through UL 891 or UL 857 listing from start to finish.
• Experience running short-circuit withstand and temperature rise test campaigns.
• Strong background in designing for manufacturability at volume (sheet metal, plating, assembly).
• Ability to lead product teams through compressed release schedules.
