What you will do

  • Facilitate and manage the global peering footprint in coordination with network engineering.
  • Identify strategic new peering partners in existing and new markets to improve global connectivity.
  • Negotiate and sign peering agreements in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Coordinate with architectural and procurement teams to enable new global peering connectivity.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in peering networks at common exchange points.
  • Extensive knowledge of Public Internet Exchanges and Private Peering.
  • Expert understanding of physical and logical technical mechanisms for network peering.
  • Proven history of integrating AI tools to enhance workflows and problem-solving.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of BGP protocol, router configurations, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of cost calculations, financial modeling, and balance metrics for peering and transit agreements.
  • Multilingual capabilities to effectively engage with diverse international partners.
