What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure and optimize routing/switching environments (BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN).
• Configure and support network security controls, firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco), and VPN solutions.
• Architect and support cloud network connectivity in AWS and Azure, including VPCs, VNets, and hybrid links like Direct Connect and ExpressRoute.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and major infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
• Monitor network health using SolarWinds or ThousandEyes and perform deep-dive root cause analysis for outages.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain comprehensive network documentation and standards.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status is required for adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations (ITAR).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
• Expertise in Cisco routing/switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco/Meraki wireless networking.
• Proficiency with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD) and packet capture tools like Wireshark.

Nice to have

• Experience with SD-WAN (Viptela) and network automation using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience with NAC solutions such as Cisco ISE or ClearPass.
• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CMMC, or ISO 27001.
• Professional certifications: CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or NSE.
