What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate next-generation firewall and web security proxy solutions to ensure secure, high-availability network operations.
• Maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, threat prevention, and URL filtering.
• Engineer and support Cisco routing and switching infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments.
• Deploy and configure McAfee Web Security Proxy (Web Gateway) to enforce web filtering and malware protection.
• Integrate firewall and proxy solutions with authentication systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, and TACACS+.
• Monitor security platforms, analyze logs, and implement mitigation strategies for identified security incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of experience.
• Must be able to attain and maintain an AOUSC Public Trust clearance.
• Strong professional experience with Zscaler.
• At least 5 years of IT or network security experience.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco routers/switches.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, IPsec/SSL VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect, CCNP/CCIE, or CISSP.
