Salary: $130,000–$185,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Define architectural patterns and best practices for enterprise Shopify Plus deployments, including headless and composable commerce.
• Lead global cross-functional teams of architects and engineers to ensure delivery quality and performance at scale.
• Own the technical narrative in sales pursuits, including discovery, solutioning, and proposal development.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of Shopify experts while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner with business development teams to identify upsell opportunities and deepen relationships with Shopify alliance teams.
• Establish governance frameworks and delivery KPIs to manage the complexity of enterprise commerce engagements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership within a consulting or agency environment.
• 3–4 years of specific experience with Shopify Plus or comparable enterprise commerce platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, and headless commerce architectures.
• Proven track record of leading sales pursuits and owning technical narratives in competitive deals.
• Experience building and leading distributed technical teams, including hiring and mentoring senior talent.
• Must be based in the United States to be considered for this role.

Nice to have

• Shopify Partner, Developer, or Plus certifications.
• Enterprise architecture credentials such as TOGAF, SAFe, or PMP.
• Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and CDP (Segment, mParticle) integrations.
