What you will do

• Design and specify electrical power distribution systems, including switch-gear, UPS units, and emergency generators.
• Provide engineering support for facility technicians to troubleshoot electrical equipment and controllers.
• Perform load flow analysis and ensure equipment compatibility with facility power budgets.
• Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance activities with local utility providers.
• Ensure all designs and installations conform to applicable codes and regulations like NFPA 70E and NEC.
• Review and analyze electrical components to maintain high operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in electrical projects, power distribution, or switchgear.
• Ability to read and interpret complex power and control schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical knowledge sharing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial pumps.
• Knowledge of MODBUS communication and control panel design.
• Experience with medium voltage distribution and arc flash coordination.
