What you will do

• Own site electrical operations and distribution systems, ensuring planned and corrective maintenance are completed.
• Lead electrical power outage response and recovery while maintaining system reliability and customer requirements.
• Model distribution systems, troubleshoot electrical problems, conduct breaker coordination and arc flash studies, and track load and capacity using EasyPower.
• Analyze equipment utilization, power quality, system health, capacity, and adverse trends using PME and ION monitoring software.
• Lead system upgrades, commissioning, maintenance planning, asset life-extension evaluations, replacement projects, and critical spare-parts management.
• Review and approve facility electrical designs, coordinate with project teams and contractors, and validate as-built documentation and system manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• 3+ years of industry experience with medium-voltage electrical power systems, including 35 kV and/or 12.47 kV maintenance, design, or operation.
• Experience with electrical modeling, equipment drawings or submittals, troubleshooting, protective device coordination studies, and/or load-flow analysis.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems, transformers, substations, generators, and UPS systems.
• Ability to apply NEC, life-safety, and building codes and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications.
