Cell Operator

TL;DR

Cell Operator (Valves): Assemble and test valves and/or valve components using assembly machinery, jigs, and fixtures with an accent on following A.T.I. (Assemble test instructions) to maintain quality standards. Focus on repetitive assembly, testing/packaging, and completing production records and quality control documentation in an on-site manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Follow prescribed A.T.I.’s (Assemble test instructions) to maintain quality standards.
• Test and/or package valves and components, including labeling and placing items into master cartons.
• Complete recaps, production records, and quality control documents.
• Perform continuous repetitive assembling of valves and/or sub parts.
• Maintain housekeeping to meet environmental and safety parameters.
• Report quality or safety concerns immediately and take on other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
• Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 25 pounds; push/pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to wear required PPE (e.g., safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses).

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English.
