Leadperson - 1st Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the manufacturing facility in Franklin, NH, United States. This role requires regular work at the company location during the first shift.

What you will do

• Assist the Production Supervisor with the orderly operation of the valves department and timely completion of production orders.
• Coordinate work assignments and communication to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
• Support employees by answering questions, reviewing quality, providing training, and solving production problems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems and coordinate with maintenance and other support departments.
• Lead daily tier meetings, engage employees, and build positive employee relations as an informal leader.
• Drive continuous improvement, inventory accuracy, and 5S standards in the primary work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, safety practices, and procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the manufacturing floor, and lift and push or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to read documents, communicate clearly, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Successful employment eligibility verification, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.
