Project Procurement Specialist (Hydropower)

Location: Office-based in Charlotte, NC, US

What you will do

• Manage hydro refurbishment and manufacturing work packages from sourcing through final delivery.
• Develop sourcing and execution strategies for complex equipment, services, and project work scopes.
• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement recovery plans to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, technical, quality, and schedule risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, supplier quality, and field service teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in hydroelectric generation, power generation, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Proven track record in project procurement, project execution, or supplier management.
• Experience working with engineered-to-order equipment and complex refurbishment projects.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Charlotte, NC due to the requirement for close internal collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
