What you will do

• Design and build scalable web, software, and mobile applications, including prototypes and POCs.
• Drive requirements gathering, technical design, project planning, and testing strategies.
• Contribute 50–60% of your time to writing high-quality, performant, and scalable code.
• Mentor engineers and provide architectural guidance to solve complex technical problems.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and business units to align on vision and deliver impactful outcomes.
• Champion best practices in accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, New York.
• 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class web applications.
• Proficiency in React and JavaScript (Redux, React-Native) in a single-page architecture.
• 7+ years of experience with Object-Oriented languages such as Java/J2EE, Python, or C++.
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and relational database design.
• Strong leadership experience in mentoring junior developers and leading cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in using AI tools for code generation (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, Augment).
• Experience with test automation including TDD, unit, integration, and functional testing.
