TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Software Development Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing full-stack customer-facing product experiences for borderless financial services with an accent on scalability, reliability, and high engineering standards. Focus on leading technical design for complex greenfield problems and implementing end-to-end features across web, mobile, and backend services.
Location: Hybrid (Seattle, WA). Expectation of in-office presence at least 50% of the time monthly.
Salary: $180,000 - $225,000

What you will do
- Lead technical design and architecture for complex, greenfield problems, translating ambiguity into clear strategies.
- Develop full-stack features across web and mobile frontends using TypeScript and React/React Native.
- Build scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to deliver customer-centric software.
- Implement observable, efficient, and resilient systems while participating in an on-call rotation.
- Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to the engineering culture and onboarding.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from the Seattle, WA office (Hybrid).
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with end-to-end system operation.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React or React Native at product scale.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with distributed large-scale systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Nice to have
- Experience in FinTech, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code) in the software lifecycle.
