What you will do

• Develop and implement quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Act as the primary liaison for government (FAA, DCMA) and customer audits.
• Support production by conducting quality studies and recommending design changes.
• Optimize inspection costs and prevent failures through statistical analysis.
• Maintain integrity and enforce quality standards by stopping processes when non-conformances are identified.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Torrance, CA.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with AS9100 standards.
• ASQ certification.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, or hydro-mechanical components.
