Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Salary: $60,200–$111,800 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure product conformity and resolve quality issues.
• Lead problem-solving teams, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Perform process audits to verify compliance with requirements and procedures.
• Coordinate material review board and calibration programs.
• Create documentation for mechanical inspection methods and quality assurance processes.
• Analyze inspection data and trends across finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, recommending corrective actions and supporting statistical process control.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or two years of equivalent experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using mechanical inspection tools and methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in an organized, detail-oriented manner.
• Experience with quality and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab and Excel.
• The role operates in office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments and requires manual dexterity, computer use, and occasional movement of objects up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of related quality experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection for machined or welded parts.
