What you will do

• Define and own headcount, hiring, and capacity planning frameworks for tax operations.
• Lead capacity risk identification and mitigation across concurrent cross-functional initiatives.
• Develop KPI frameworks and reporting infrastructure to support VP-level strategic decisions.
• Partner with technology teams to implement new planning tools and automation capabilities.
• Conduct operational impact assessments for new product, skill, and channel launches.
• Mentor junior analysts on technical execution, storytelling, and stakeholder influence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, workforce management, or labor modeling.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience in ambiguous environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL.
• Working knowledge of big data tools like Redshift or Spark and BI platforms like Tableau or Qlik.
• Proven ability to influence Director+ stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Must be based in San Diego, California.
