Business Systems Analyst II (SQL/Python)

Location: In office at 350 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Starting base salary: $60,500–$104,500 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, datasets, reports, and analytical solutions for the Credit Risk Review team.
• Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards while analyzing trends, exceptions, and business insights.
• Automate reporting, data preparation, workflows, and data pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and related technologies.
• Design and develop AI agents and agentic solutions to automate workflows.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, governed technical and analytical solutions.
• Partner with business users through solution design, testing, implementation, support, training, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business analytics, data analytics, computer science, business, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, business systems analysis, or financial/risk analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Tableau or a similar business intelligence platform.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver analytical solutions.
• Experience in commercial banking or financial services, credit risk, lending, portfolio management, regulatory reporting, software implementation, or business process improvement is required or strongly relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Snowflake, scripting languages, or cloud-based analytical technologies.
• Experience developing AI-assisted productivity, documentation, coding, or workflow solutions.
