What you will do
- Lead technical pre-sales activities, including customer-facing exercises and technical presentations.
- Design solutions from conception to delivery and help clients understand the proposed approach.
- Support sales with technical RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and other customer proposals.
- Define operations/statement of work details, partition solutions, and support project specifications and requirements.
- Work with development teams and project managers to deliver client solutions within agreed scope.
- Provide solutions assurance, articulate technical risks, and contribute to the solution architecture practice and roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer-facing solution architecture/technical design roles in the payments industry, focused on card payments.
- Hands-on experience with card processing systems and standards such as ISO 8583, plus integrations with Mastercard and Visa.
- Strong English communication skills to engage stakeholders at business and technical levels.
- Experience working with APIs and strong application architecture/domain expertise in Java-based applications and cloud/on-prem infrastructure.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas visually and in writing, and to work autonomously with a driven, team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of payment concepts and the global payments landscape; preference for familiarity with the local regulatory landscape in the US region.
