What you will do

• Define scalable and robust software architecture for core payment assets in line with business requirements.
• Design architectural solutions and create detailed technical specifications, system diagrams, and documentation.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure architecture implementation aligns with design.
• Mentor developers and perform code reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in planning and overseeing large-scale software projects and migrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, distributed systems, software engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Expertise in designing cloud-based architectures, APIs, and integrations for payment platforms.
• Ability to translate complex product domains into technical solutions within large-scale Java applications.
• Proven leadership skills in guiding engineering teams and influencing technical direction.
• English: C1 level required; French is appreciated.
• Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania for a hybrid work arrangement.
