What you will do

• Create realistic shading for 3D assets using textures and photographic references.
• Collaborate with modeling, groom, and texture teams to ensure optimal geometry and elements.
• Work with lighting TDs to resolve technical issues and optimize assets for rendering.
• Apply client notes to assets with minimal guidance.
• Manage time and resources to meet weekly production targets.
• Contribute to turntable setups and integrate lightrigs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in texture, lighting, or look development for high-standard live-action projects.
• Must be located in the province of Quebec and hold a valid Canadian work authorization.
• Strong creative skills and deep understanding of shading networks.
• Excellent proficiency in Maya and nodal shading tools like Katana.
• Familiarity with Arnold renderer and HDR lighting.
• Strong understanding of image color space and reference neutralization.
