Salary: $1,000–$1,500 CAD per week

What you will do

• Create show-style models from scratch meeting technical and aesthetic standards.
• Deliver tasks within production deadlines while working largely self-directed.
• Collaborate with Look Development Artists to ensure model compatibility with the pipeline.
• Work closely with Riggers to ensure character models function correctly.
• Provide creative solutions to issues arising in pre-production and shot production.
• Take and implement constructive feedback from supervisors and directors efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and a resident of BC as of Dec 31, 2025.
• Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, and/or Mudbox.
• Strong understanding of clean line flow for organic and hard surface models.
• Background in visual arts or design with a solid grasp of form and geometry.
• Ability to create complex models from 2D reference or scan data.
• Consistent productivity and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Industry experience in Animation or VFX.
• Knowledge of texturing, shading, rendering, or rigging.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Python scripting skills.
• Experience using Shotgun for production tracking.
