What you will do

• Lead the resolution of complex animation errors and technical challenges.
• Develop and refine rigging systems to support advanced cloth simulations.
• Perform hand-animation for hair and cloth to achieve realistic motion.
• Collaborate with modelers to optimize character meshes, topology, and UV mapping.
• Maintain and improve animation tools and pipelines using Python.
• Support the rendering process with basic knowledge of Arnold.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in the animation industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Maya nDynamics and nCloth setups.
• Strong expertise in rigging systems and cross-departmental workflows.
• Intermediate to advanced Python skills for pipeline editing and error fixing.
• Solid understanding of nucleus-based dynamics, constraints, and deformers.
• Ability to work onsite in Vancouver as part of a hybrid team.
