Account Executive

TL;DR

Account Executive: Managing client projects and daily agency coordination with an accent on cross-departmental collaboration and financial oversight. Focus on delivering full agency capabilities, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring project execution on time and on budget.

Location: Must be based in San José, Costa Rica. The role follows a hybrid work model with 4 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Manage client projects from initiation to completion while overseeing creative execution.
• Coordinate daily communication between agency departments and client counterparts.
• Prepare timelines, contact reports, and manage weekly status meetings.
• Assist in developing creative briefs and ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.
• Track team hours, manage out-of-pocket expenses, and assist with budget analysis.
• Provide day-to-day problem solving and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of advertising or related agency experience.
• Must be based in Costa Rica.
• Strong financial aptitude for developing and managing project budgets.
• Experience managing digital agency processes including social media, programmatic/display, and analytics.
• Solid organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Understanding of agency workflows and creative production processes.
