What you will do

• Develop and apply Digital Engineering capabilities for the analysis of complex systems in defense, hypersonics, and space domains.
• Execute the full system development lifecycle, including trade studies, concept and architecture design, integration, testing, and operation.
• Lead small teams and align them toward program goals while mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Identify system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed technical and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering field (Master's preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis or a related field.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as SysML and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation frameworks and languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Knowledge of GPS hardware/software development and Kalman filtering or modern estimation methods.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with GPS/INS integrated systems.
• Experience in navigation algorithm development and covariance/accuracy analysis.
• Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
