What you will do

• Lead the development of modeling and simulation frameworks for complex defense and aerospace systems.
• Build high-fidelity digital twins to evaluate system performance and mission effectiveness.
• Design simulation architectures supporting rapid design trades and system optimization.
• Integrate physics-based models with software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
• Perform Monte Carlo analyses and probabilistic performance modeling.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for model validation and verification.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or eligible for ITAR authorizations.
• Active U.S. Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 8+ years of experience in modeling and simulation for aerospace, defense, or autonomous systems.
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++.
• Experience modeling dynamic systems, control systems, or autonomous behaviors.
• Strong understanding of physics-based modeling and numerical methods.

Nice to have

• Experience with missile systems, UAVs, or military platforms.
• Familiarity with MBSE, SysML, and Cameo.
• Experience with RF propagation, GPS-denied navigation, or electronic warfare modeling.
• Familiarity with tools like Gazebo, Unreal Engine, ROS, STK, or AFSIM.
