TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Boxborough, Massachusetts (minimum 4 days a week)

Salary: $110,400 - $165,600

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and document imaging system solutions integrating software and hardware components.
• Lead the characterization and optimization of image quality and performance across the imaging chain.
• Define user needs, business requirements, use cases, and system architecture.
• Perform engineering analysis to select system-level concepts and ensure they fulfill overall system vision.
• Plan and execute user evaluations in lab-based surgical environments to gather concept feedback.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, product hazards, and failure modes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Experience in technical planning, system integration, and verification and validation.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into detailed hardware and software specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience in the medical device industry and surgical techniques.
• Expertise with X-ray imaging systems and end-to-end imaging pipeline analysis.
• Proficiency with Matlab, Linux, C++, or scripting languages.
• Ability to effectively apply AI tools to engineering tasks.
• Experience with software/algorithm design and iterative development practices.
