What you will do

• Contribute as a hands-on developer (approx. 60% of time) including coding, testing, and release management.
• Lead team ceremonies, manage day-to-day work, and ensure adherence to CMMI practices and governing policies.
• Remove team impediments and escalate risks to Program Managers to facilitate progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technical debt and initiatives in the backlog.
• Mentor team members and foster an Agile mindset within the development team.
• Coordinate release planning and ensure successful, timely deployments.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen due to government security clearance requirements for Department of Education contracts.
• Must reside in the United States (excluding the listed restricted states).
• Proficiency in one or more technical areas: Software Engineering, QA, Architecture, or SRE.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and delivery management.
• Ability to facilitate, negotiate, and model processes or requirements.
• Experience with technical documentation, security, and compliance processes.
