Software Engineer For TimescaleDB Enterprise (Go/TypeScript)

What you will do

• Design and develop the TimescaleDB Enterprise on-prem deployment and management platform.
• Build management consoles and user-facing tooling using React and TypeScript.
• Develop backend APIs and services using Go.
• Implement deployment workflows and configuration management with Ansible.
• Write comprehensive tests ranging from unit tests to automated end-to-end infrastructure testing.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to solve real-world infrastructure challenges.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience (including internships or substantial projects).
• Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript.
• Comfort with Linux fundamentals: shell, SSH, services, containers, and basic networking.
• Must be located in the US Eastern or Central Time Zone.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools in daily workflows.
• Interest in working across multiple system layers, from backend services to UI tooling.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with distributed systems or deployment automation.
