Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (React/Java)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia; hybrid setup with a work-from-home option

Salary: €5.4K–€6.2K per month

What you will do

• Design, build, and own complex features across React components and Java services.
• Reason about service boundaries and contribute to architectural evolution as the codebase scales.
• Monitor and optimize application performance as part of the development process.
• Use Claude Code and other AI tools as part of the engineering workflow.
• Track industry and technology trends that influence product direction.

Requirements

• Proven experience shipping complex production features and owning their outcomes.
• Strong React, TypeScript, and state-management skills, including Redux or similar tools.
• Strong Java skills, ideally including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience designing REST/OpenAPI APIs, working with relational databases, and managing schema migrations.
• Working knowledge of AWS fundamentals, including S3 and SQS, plus Docker-based local development.
• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous service communication, queues, or messaging.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes and Helm deployment experience or deeper knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, EKS, and IAM.
• Kotlin experience.
• Internationalization or multi-locale application experience.
• Experience leading legacy modernization or architectural migration initiatives.
