What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, chat, and email to resolve software issues.
• Provide expert guidance on financial modules, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and job costing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks and Sage Intacct.
• Advise customers on accounting best practices, chart of accounts setup, and month-end closing procedures.
• Analyze and resolve complex financial workflow cases to prevent escalations through in-depth testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in technical support or accounting.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual vs. cash, general ledger, P&L, balance sheets).
• Strong critical thinking, resourcefulness, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of the home or commercial service industry.
