What you will do

• Own high-stakes technical problems from discovery to implementation.
• Architect and operate secure cloud environments across GCP and AWS.
• Design maintainable tooling, integrations, and automation for the team.
• Build batch workflows and interactive notebooks for large-scale data analysis.
• Partner with customers to analyze needs and train them on platform usage.
• Improve engineering standards through design reviews and mentorship.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in production software design and architecture.
• Expert-level Python proficiency and fluency in at least one additional language.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, IAM, networking, Terraform, and Docker.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
• Proven track record of independently owning ambiguous, customer-facing technical projects.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads at scale.
• Familiarity with clinical data standards like OMOP or FHIR.
• Experience with large-scale data workflows using BigQuery.
• Previous experience in a technical lead or mentorship role.
